Korea Trip - Seoul and Busan 2012 Day 6

Day 6 was Historical Day, we had our bf at a small catering store in the departmental store next to our Hotel.  Love our hotel to the max as it was so convenience.  I ordered Seaweed Rice Roll and a cup of rice water.  We love both.

景福宫is a few stop away from Shin Chon, kids are very happy and excited to see the real palace.  From the architecture I feel that Korean is not very rich long long time ago.  Kids are looking forwards to see King or Queen in the palace.  I planned to brought them for a Korean foto taking session. Was told that they only have adult costume 8(

We took herbal chicken for lunch in a old street.  Good ambiance food serve quickly but we still prefer the chicken in Busan...

After lunch we walk to 仁寺洞and北村韓屋村。

We have street food for dinner and walk to the famous River Stream before going back to Hotel.

Korea Trip - Seoul and Busan 2012 Day 5

Today is everland day, We left the apartment at 8am, we bought Dukin Donut near our apartment and took a train to 江南站...  Is a bad choice taking their public transport as there are no confirm seat and the bus Journey is about 1 hour.  We are luckily to have a seat but daddy stand thru out the journey.

We need to take another bus from the public bus station to the park, Rayen is overjoy with the pretty setting.  She requested for her picture to be taken at every spot of the park.  We watch a 3D Poporo show and proceed to the advanture site... Is a bad choice again as the ship is 4 times bigger than what we see in Singapore.  Justen have a daze after the ride.  He felt very uncomfortable and requested for a rest.  Rayen is the happy girl, we when for a boat ride, a foto taking session with Alice in the wonderland as well as other cutie ride.

After a short nap Justen felt better so we proceeded to another site.  He visited a playhouse, Rayen is so sad that she was unable to enter due to height limit.  After playing we bought cotton candy for the 2 kids, Justen experience motion sickness again. He rested again while me and Rayen took a merry-go-round ride.  We visited the Flower Garden, while Rayen was taking picture, Justen was resting in the Pram.  We had a so so lunch in the park.  After lunch we proceed to their Safari, is a long Queuing and Justen is getting tired again.  After the animal ride, he vomited and got really upset.  We decided to look for help and the nurse in the park gave him some medication and they sent us out of the park.  The bus was terrible, no one willing to let go their sit to my sick boy or little girl.  During that moment I was telling myself, I will not step into this country again. Haha...

We reached 江南站and rested in a Cafe, Justen got a good nap and he mentioned to us that he was feeling much better.  I visited Innisfer, the salesgirl who couldn't speak good english was trying very hard to communicate with me, I appreciated her helped.  After geeting my loot, we travel back to Shin Chon.  Have our dinner at 八色烤肉。 Justen was feeling better now, we loved their food.  The waitress was from China so no Language Barriers.  Finally a good ending of the day 8)

Korea Trip - Seoul and Busan 2012 Day 4

Target to leave the hotel at 11am,  brought Rayen for a quick shop at the mall just below our hotel.  I only have 30 mins to shop and only realise there is a super market at the basement of the mall.

Check out and push our 2 huge luggages Busan Train Station.  Justen is a great help during the trip, he will help to push the pram or luggage.

We reached Busan Train Station at 12noon, proceed to confirm on the timing the train that we are taking, there are train going Seoul half hourly but only 1 or 2 are direct without stop over in other station. 

We had our lunch in an authentic shop.  Daddy wanted to try their cold noodle and I have bibiba,
Ordered bean soup for Justen but is spicy so he took his rice with seaweed.  We bought some bread so that kids will not be hungry in the train.

The train is very pack today, we are kind of lucky to find a cubicle few min before the train move.

Reached Seoul Station at 4pm.  Here is very crowded and worst no escalator or got but we didn't find it.

Our next hotel is at ShinChon, Casavilla, is a service apartment with a small kitchen for cooking.  Nice place and is super convenience, just outside the station about 3 mins walk.  The room is big too, with 2 queen size beds. The price is less than SGD700 for 5 nights.  Really value for money.

A took a nap and bought 2 set of "happy meals" from Lotteria.  Is located at our apartment, and I bought some plaster, mozzie patch from a phamacy just next to it too. Lotteria cheese burger is very yummy and kids love the given toys.

We decided to carry on with our plan after the rest, it was around 6 plus, we had to travel 1 stop to 弘大 to watch a Play - Nanta.  With a discount coupon we were given a 10% discount for the tickets of 3, Rayen was asleep and was just in time to wake up for the show when it started.  Fabulous show,  it don't graded as the most exciting attraction in Seoul for no reason.  All of us including Rayen enjoy 100% of the show with lot of laughter.  It started at 8 and end around 10pm.  Most of the resturants were closed we have a quick snack at the nite market, tried their fish cake soup as well as their spicy bbq chicken after that we decided to went back to our apartment with some home cook supper.  Kids love instant noodle, we brought some ingredient in the near by 7-11 store...  Good ending for the day.
