Sabah - Kota Kinabalu Trip Day 4

Last day in Kota Kinabalu, a bit sad but totally relax @ Nexus Resort. We had a nice buffet bf and then continue our Komodo Dragon hunt. Still no luck, so we decided to walk toward the beach. Nexus has a big private beach with crystal clear water and fine sand, not sure the water is salty or not but I see Rayen keep trying seem tasty to her. Justen have a good time running and chasing the wave. I let the 2 kids play for awhile until the sun getting a bit hot. Then we proceed to their swimming pool with a shade which is good for kids who love water but mommy who hate hot sun. There are bicycle and tricycle out for rental. Float is available too but all with a price.
I let 3 of them play in the pool while I go back to our room to pack to go. Last dip in the tub before saying goodbye to Nexus. I hope to come again, to look for the komodo Dragon and touch the rainbow fish @ Manukan Island.

Sabah - Kota Kinabalu Trip Day 3 Part 1

Morning start early today as we are meeting all of them at the lobby at 830am. Today we are going to Manukan Island. Is a beach with crystal clear water. The kids get to see rainbow fish, zebra fish and a school of fish right in front of them 8) I had prepare some bread for the kids to feed those hungry fish. After some feeding they decided to head into the sea to feed those big fish. Justen is excited over the experience but cling to daddy like a Koala. They decided to go for a banana boat ride with Ian and Justen. No picture taken as the ride is at middle of the sea and Justen fallen asleep on the boat *.*" He is very proud to tell me that he didn't fall out of the sea. We left the island at 1pm and rush back to Hotel and proceed to our next destination - Nexus Resort for 1 nite stay.

Sabah - Kota Kinabalu Trip Day 2

Morning Call by Rayen at 8am. She is good to us today normally she will wake up around 7am. We changed and eat our BF at a nearby Coffee Shop, we have Sabah Laksa, Tomyam Noodle and Pan Mian for Justen. Their coffee and tea are thick and fragrant 8)

Walk back to Hotel and all the kids meet at the pool for a swim 8). Think Justen really enjoy it a lot! I bring Rayen back for a nap and I prepare some porridge for Ian(poor boy is having stomach flu) and Rayen. I had order some food to the room as we need energy for the long afternoon event 8) Put up the candle on the complimentary cake by the hotel and get the boys to sing a song for the birthday boy. Justen is very excited over it. Ask him to take a nap before we head to River Kilas the wetland. The van ride to our destination is about 2hrs. We meet the PIC at lobby around 2.30pm and we only reach Kalis at 4.30pm. After a light refreshment we are all ready for the boat ride to see the "long nose monkey". We are lucky to see quite a number of them flying around. Is an eye opening trip for both the adult and kids.

We're back to jetty at 6.30pm. Dinner are simple but good enough to fill up our tummy. There are a wide spread of seafood, chicken as well as vegetable, soup and fruits. After dinner we proceed to take a boat ride to see fireflies. Can't take any picture of them. But the view is really spectacular. The whole forest is blinking glowing in the dark. Even the adult are amaze with what in their eyes. (We have a bargain price of 160rm for adult and 100rm for kids above 3yr old for the half day trip.) Everyone are tired when reach hotel at 9pm.
